English Language Programmes

Students who are assessed as having a low proficiency level in English or some weaknesses have the opportunity to attend the language support courses, designed as separate activities from the subject courses which run on a full-time basis throughout the year. The programme consists of three levels :

Admission Procedure
  1. Along with the completed application form, a photograph and an application fee of $100 (non-refundable) is required.
  2. An official High School diploma accompanied by an official transcript. Students without formal qualifications but with relevant work will be considered.
  3. One recommendation letter of the applicant from either a teacher, counselor or principle of the school the applicant graduated from, or is presently attending. For working students the recommendation letter can be from their relevant work.
  4. A good command of the English language is essential to those students who are interested in attending a course taught in English. Proof of good command or English language should be submitted.

Admission Dates

The period for admission for the Autumn Semester starts in May and ends at the beginning of October, while admission for the Spring Semester starts in December and ends in the first week of February, when Spring classes begin.

Insurance

BCA Business Studies insures students against illness and accident. This insurance, which is in addition to any other insurance carried by the individual, becomes effective when the student arrives at the college and remains in effect during the entire period of the academic year for which he or she is enrolled. Medical insurance coverage does not include medical checkups, routine dental work, eye examination, glasses or contact lenses, or vaccinations.
