Tuition and Other Costs

In order to attend the university, students will need to have approximately $15,000 (Canadian) to cover their first year of study (September to April). Travel costs have not been included in this figure.

Above figures reflect the 2001-2002 costs and do not include the cost of remaining in Canada during the summer (May to August). For a 12-month period, students should budget $20,000 (Canadian)

Proof of minimum language skill if coming from a country where English is not the primary language (students must achieve a minimum score on one of the following tests: TOEFL - 550 on the paper-based test or 213 on the computer-based test, IELTS - 6.5, MELAB - 80)

Medical Information

International students studying at Brandon University on a Student Visa are required as a part of their registration to take out medical insurance. This insurance is handled through the Financial and Registration Services Office from which further details may be obtained. A student's registration will not be complete until the medical insurance has been purchased.
