CGI operates on an academic calendar of three, 15 week-trimesters each year. International students are welcome to apply for any of the trimesters.

*** Certification of Finances

If you plan to enroll at CGU with an F-1 student visa, you and your financial sponsor(s) must complete and sign the CGU Certification of Finances form and the financial information you provide certified by a bank officer. The bank officer may sign and stamp the Certification of Finances form itself, or write a separate letter confirming the amount of money tat is available to you for your first year of study at CGU, along with the name of the account holder(s). bank statements or copies or faxes of financial documentation, or financial documentation that is more than one year old, are not acceptable.

The Certification of Finances form and bank certification are required even if you plan to love with a family member or relative while you study.

** Official Academic Records and Course Descriptions

From Institutions Outside of the US: You are required to provide official academic documents from all higher education institutions attended (and from secondary school if you are applying for bachelor's degree admission and have completed less than one year of university-level study), issued in the language in which official academic documentation is issued in the language in which official academic documentation is issued in the country in which you studied. Photocopies or notarized copies are not acceptable as official academic records.

Applicants living in India and Pakistan must submit university-attested copies of mark-sheets and the degree diploma, submitted to the Office of Admissions in an envelope sealed by the university.

Professional English translations are required for all documents not issued in English. However if the document is submitted in an envelope sealed by the university, do not open the seal yourself. If a translation is needed the University will contact you itself.

* Test Scores

All undergraduate and graduate applicants whose first native language is not English must meet an English language proficiency requirement to qualify for admission. The requirements are as follows : -

  1. Official TOEFL score: Undergraduate 525 (197 computer), Graduate 550 (213 computer)
  2. IELTS: Undergraduate Band 6 or higher, Graduate Band 6.5 or higher.
