LOCATION: Niagara College is located in the beautiful Niagara peninsula in the area around the world famous "Niagara Falls". This college of applied arts & technology offers programs at three campuses : in the cities of Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Welland. The Niagara Region is located in the south-western part of the province of Ontario, bordering New York State of the USA. Campuses are 20 minutes distance from each other, and about 90 minutes from the city of Toronto via car, bus or train. ABOUT NIAGARA COLLEGE: Niagara College has delivered post-secondary and post-graduate programs for over 30 years, and every program has Ontario Government approval. Every program also has been recognized by professional associations, for example the AMHA (American Hotel & Motel Association). This guarantees that graduates have the skills at the end of their program that are required by their future employers in industry and business. Job placement statistics are exceptional, and graduates manage to obtain many managerial and supervisory positions within their companies. SPECIALIZATIONS: Niagara College prides itself in having one of the world’s best training centres for tourism and hospitality training, located only a few hundred metres away from one of the seven natural world’s wonders : Niagara Falls. These impressive waterfalls attract more than 15 million visitors each year. For the coming three years an amount of five billion dollars will be invested in expansion of the already magnificent tourism and hospitality industry in the Niagara region via new Casinos, new hotels, new restaurants, new infrastructure and additional local transport. The expectation is that the number of visitors will grow up to 20 million per year, a number only equaled by Disneyland in Florida. Niagara College’s training centre in the city of Niagara Falls works very closely with the tourism and hospitality industry in the region which hires about 50 % of the college's graduates each year. Niagara College also has a remarkable facility for environmental training. The school of environmental studies has a living laboratory of 100 hectares wet lands, in which students are charged with restoring and managing the environmental effects. The same campus has a centre for international Trade and development. The International Business Division has helped hundreds of students launch careers all over the world. Students have come from France, Greece, Korea, England, Libya, Japan, Mexico, Chile, Senegal, Taiwan, Bangladesh, China, Thailand, Lebanon, Turks and Caicos, Jordan, Egypt, Colombia, Equador, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, India, Spain, Germany, Venezuela, Switzerland, Italy, Bermuda, United Arab Emirates, Cayman Islands, Pakistan, Hungary, Aruba, Macedonia, Argentina, Bahamas, Belgium, Ghana, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Madagascar, Malaysia, Nigeria, Oman, Sri Lanka, Tazmania, Ukraine and the United States. Their ages have varied from 18 to 39 years with backgrounds ranging from recent high school graduates to those who have been working for a few years and are now looking to further their education.
