Admission Requirements

General - Entry to Diploma courses generally requires the completion of All India SSC or State Board with 50% average. Entry to Certificate courses generally requires the successful completion of All India SSC with average D grade. Specific academic entry requirements are listed in the adjoining table. Not all qualifications should send details for assessment.

Mature Age Entry - Mature age student (21 years and over) may be admitted to a course without meeting the formal academic requirements if they have relevant work experience and other acceptable qualifications.

English Language - IELTS 5.0 (for Advanced Certificate) and IELTS 5.5 (for Diploma); TOEFL 500 (for Advanced Certificate) and TOEFL 525 (for Diploma); Year 12 English Div 2 (for Advanced Certificate) and Year 12 English Div 2 (for Diploma)

Application Procedure

Complete the enclosed Application Form, confirming your status as an International Student.

Attach certified copies of all academic qualification including school reports and official examination certificates plus English Test Results and any relevant Employment Documents. Please ensure that your present name is added to copies obtained under a former name and that certified translations accompany documents that are not in English.

Copies may be verified by:

The official records department of the institute that originally issued the documents.
A Justice of the Peace or Public Notary.
An authorized HIBT representative.
The British overseas diplomatic mission or a British Council staff member.

Attach 2 passport size photographs.
